Yep you heard right, Vince and I shot some more footage and came up with a new trailer. We may or may not be doing something with this one... we'll see where it's headed. I hope you all enjoy this new action packed trailer!
We had a blast making this thing, so I hope you have the same effect watching it. =)
Alright, so I've completed the video that Vince and I shot yesterday. Bear in mind that it is only a short trailer, and it most likely will not turn into an actual movie. lol
So I headed over Vince's dorm yesterday. We planned to film our short "mock"-umentary, but somehow found it impossible and ridiculous to pull off. Maybe another day. But we did shoot some video, that now will hopefully turn out to be quite a hilarious video. I haven't quite gotten to the footage yet, but I'll try and upload the video sometime tonight.
But let me progress through yesterday, for that was not the only adventure we took on that night. Vince had suggested we go to the park nearby off of Okeechobee. I wasn't really in the mood, but then Vince's friend Alysha came over and they both convinced me to go to the park.
So we did.... at 9:45 at night.
So we got there and I will admit, we had a fun time. Then about 10:30 rolled around and while we were all sitting near the tire swings a few police cars roll up on a suspicious car parked nearby. We thought nothing of it until one of the police officers pointed his flashlight our way and yelled, "Hey you! Get over here!"
For the next fifteen minutes we proceeded to "Stay put" as three separate officers confiscated our IDs. After much deliberation they handed us our IDs back then asked, "What are you guys doing at a park at 10:30 at night in Fort Pierce?" Our reply, "We were bored." Vince asked one of the officers if he wanted to come play with us on the swings and the officer replied, "Excuse me? No, I have a job, and that's protecting this area from people like you."
Some cops are just assholes. These especially included. But they let us go finally when they realized we weren't doing anything illegal and couldn't detain us for playing on a playground at night.
I of course told Vince, "And I said I didn't want to go to the park." But then I realized that if I hadn't gone I wouldn't have this interesting little story to share with you all.
So that was an interesting night. We just went to Walmart after that and walked around. Nothing like a night on the town in Fort Pierce.
Ok, so I suck at keeping up with this thing. I should update more, but I'm lazy. Yes I know I should be less lazy. But anyway, I decided to do a Lost music video. Why? Because I'm an addict and I just can't get enough. If you've seen the show from the beginning and have been watching the whole way through I'm sure you'd agree with me. But enough with the idle chatting, let's get on to the video....
Oh, and don't worry... this video is very general and doesn't ruin anything for you if you haven't seen the show. There are no spoilers in it.
I hope to do more as time goes on. This should be just the first in a series. Or so I would hope if I can get my lazy self to post more often.
Okay, that's it from me. See you all next time. =D
Well it's finally 2007. This year was pretty fast, of course everyone says that about every year at this point because everything has already happened. But anyway, I bring you many a photo today. Some of the New Years Block Party around Lauren's neighborhood and then some other fun photos I took today while Lauren helped me run errands.
Well Jason and I cracked down and shot a film the other day. It was unexpected and we were going on the fly, but I think it turned out well. The film is actually a documentary, or mocumentary if you will, about 4 roomates who live in a house together without any furniture, television, or much of anything else for that matter. The audience can watch and see how these individuals live and how they entertain themselves.
So go ahead and sit back and take a look at The Mocumentary and I hope you will all enjoy.
Alright, so first off, Merry Christmas everyone and/or Happy Holidays. I hope everyone had a good one. I know I did. =)
Well I got a lot of good stuff this year, but the thing I have been using the most is my new digital camera. It's quite nice and has some nifty features. I'll just let the photos do the talking.
That is all for now. I'm pretty sure I'll be keeping up with this journal now that I have some photos to post. Plus I'll be going on two separate photo shoots soon. One with Amberlee and one with Lauren. So those should be quite fun.
Wow. So I haven't updated in months. Sorry everyone who was actually looking forward to my entries, if that pertains to anyone, but I've just been busy and haven't looked at the LJ much.
I've been at school working on my degree and while doing so I have been working on a documentary that will supposedly be apart of a new local television program for a Palm Beach station... maybe. I'm still not exactly sure if they are going to be able to pull it off, but if they do my documentary along with 4 others will be the first "episode" in the series. I was just watching the ins and outs yesterday with the anchors providing the intros to the documentaries and it appears that mine is the first one in the batch. No pressure... =P
My documentary is entitled "The Halo College Craze" and asks the question, why is Halo so popular? I went to Orlando and the University of Central Florida to interview my brother and some of the top gamers up there.
Now technically the documentary is fully completed and it is about 5 minutes long. But I don't want to show it to the public yet because I think that would be illegal if they are trying to premiere it on TV. So for now I can only tell you it's done. When, and if it is released I'm sure I'll be able to put it online. I hope everything turns out well.
Other than that... life has been pretty routine. Work and school seem to be a tag team as I do both almost everyday. I hope everyone else is doing well. I don't know how often I'll update this again, but who knows.
Well me and Lauren decided to shoot a short skit. I have no idea where we got the idea, we just decided to start filming and it went from there. Its not too bad. It's all about Teenage Addictions in this era that we are in now. Hope you all enjoy. =)
Hey, haven't posted in a while, but i've been busy with lots of work. And speaking of work, we had a "Pirate Day" yesterday and the employees could all dress up as pirates. I decided to try my hand at it as well of course. It was all good fun. Check out the photos.
Nothing much else to report, except maybe the fact that I've completed a full script for a new story I wrote up. If I can get all the actors set and ready to go, we might be able to start shooting soon. =)
Well last Thursday the usual Exodus crew headed over to Lauren's house for some Movie Night fun. There were board games, laser tag, a movie, friends and lots of fun. I recorded several of the events with my new camera and I have pieced it together in this small video. There was a lot of footage and only so much I could really fit in, so not everything made it. But here it is...
Well it was all good fun, like always at Exodus on Thursday nights. It was packed again last night, but all the crazies left after My Fair Verona (or however you spell it) was done playing. So most of the night we were outside, played some scrabble. And then we were inside, playing a crappy game of monopoly, which we got bored of quickly. But enough words... lets get to the pictures!
I liked this shot a lot. It is a complete contrast... focus on that cup as hard as you can Amber. lol
Well that is all from me for now.... what? Oh, right, you remember it saying something in the title about a surprise... that's right, I almost forgot. Thanks for reminding me...
Guess what everyone... My camera has arrived! Woohoo! Or rather the UPS guy came and left because I wasn't home and I couldn't sign it. Well, I wasn't willing to wait until monday, so I drove all the way to Stuart to the UPS distribution center and picked it up myself.
Hello there again my friends. How are you all... well of course you are all awesome! You wouldn't be my friends if you weren't awesome.. duh! But anyway, everything here is going pretty well. A few updates and then onto the photos, I waste no time.
I have finally ordered my digital video camera. I should have it within the next 2 weeks. Here is the link to what I ordered, but with the deal I made with the bastard I bought it from, I am supposedly getting a few extra things as well. We shall see in time.
But anyway, onto the awesome photos. Another great time at Exodus... man was it packed this time.
Alright that is all the goodness for now. Everyone make sure that you stay awesome... and remember that conversation is an awesome part of life. Also to all the guys, this week, if not your entire life, show your girl or any girl for that matter some chivalry. I'm talking about pulling a chair out for a lady, opening some doors for them, be respectful in general... Why you ask? Because they all deserve it just for being on this earth, beauty at its finest.
Hey everyone, the past few weeks have been pretty much the same... work, some halo, and of course exodus every thursday. =)
Much is the same, although my brother did come down last weekend. That was really fun. I got to hang out with him for four days. Oh, and we also went to Julia's gradutation party, which I'm very glad I did, because I met the coolest person there. This awesome person goes by the name of Rayna and she's from Tennessee. She goes to the university up there. I didn't think it was possible for a person to be that cool, but she somehow manages it all with a smile. What's up Rayna! =)
Last night was cool. I went to Exodus and man was it packed this time! There were so many people that most of the time we were all outside because there were no seats inside. But it was all great fun. I finally got to meet Amber Lee in person. =) She messaged me on myspace that she had seen me at the movie theater and we finally got to hang out at exodus last night. She had to leave pretty early, but hopefully I will see her next thursday as well.
Now I leave you all with some photos taken last night at Exodus.
